The racing season closes with our Pinewood Pro Lego Series Race. The Lego wheel kit from Pinewood Pro is new to the racing circuit and early test runs would suggest that this wheel assembly is for real. Lego race rules apply and the entries are limited to 24 cars. You can purchase the Pine Pro Lego wheel kit from Amazon. Again, you can sign up online if you wish to enter. Race entry is limited to two family members. The race is April 8th at Richard Kay and will follow the scheduled truck races.

Pinewood Derby - Truck Series

Posted on Mar 9 2017 - 4:16pm

On April 8th, we will feature our new event, the truck series. Here are the details. Pinewood trucks must look like a truck, run like a truck, smell like a truck. The biggest rule is that you must use the axle slots that are closest to the end of the block as the front of the truck. This is just the opposite from the normal pinewood derby car. This will put the front wheels in just about the right place, under the front hood. This puts the rear wheels further under the bed.Other than that, all other pinewood rules will apply. We will limit the entries to 24, with a limit of 2 trucks per family. If slots remain opened on the day before the race, then all limits are off.
